West Bearskin Lake
Gunflint Ranger District
This lake is also known as Bearskin Lake, especially on older maps.
This lake lies outside of the BWCA, but is noteworthy as it is the location of the entry point parking lot for both BWCA Entry Point 60 - Duncan Lake and BWCA Entry Point 61 - Daniels Lake. This entry point is on the south side of the lake accessible from Hungry Jack Lake Road. There is a portage to Hungry Jack Lake through this parking lot.
YMCA Camp Menogyn is located along the south shore of the lake just down the road from the entry point parking lot.
