WEST BEARSKIN LAKE CAMPSITE:
Campsite 1 (#666): The only campsite on this lake. No permit required as the campsite is outside of the BWCA

This lake is also known as Bearskin Lake, especially on older maps.

This lake lies outside of the BWCA, but is noteworthy as it is the location of the entry point parking lot for both BWCA Entry Point 60 - Duncan Lake and BWCA Entry Point 61 - Daniels Lake. This entry point is on the south side of the lake accessible from Hungry Jack Lake Road. There is a portage to Hungry Jack Lake through this parking lot.

YMCA Camp Menogyn is located along the south shore of the lake just down the road from the entry point parking lot.

There is a single campsite on West Bearskin Lake, just west of the Daniels Lake portage. Since this lake isn't in the BWCA, no permit is required to camp there.

The Caribou Rock Trail is accessible from West Bearskin Lake from the portage between West Bearskin Lake and Duncan Lake.
