Portaging Direction: From West Bearskin Lake to Daniels Lake

Solid landing on West Bearskin Lake.

Flat trail that is well traveled. No problem.

This log makes things a bit of a pain. Notice the old nail/spike sticking in the log. This log was actually part of an old dock. The scum on the water is because the lake was so calm. Even though the film on the top of the water blocks the view, if the water was clear you would be able to see that it is actually shallow here.

Portaging Direction: From Daniels Lake to West Bearskin Lake

Remains of old dock (the big logs) make the landing here a little more difficult than it would otherwise be. The film on the surface of the water is just there because there was no wind this morning and the lake surface had been calm for a long time.

This is an easy portage. Nothing noteworthy.
