Wilder Creek
Tofte Ranger District
Wilder Creek has its headwaters at South Wilder Lake. The creek flows north into North Wilder Lake. The creek is not navigable in this section. It is crossed once by the Powwow Trail in this area. Wilder Creek flows out the eastern tip of North Wilder Lake. There used to be a portage here. As of 2024, don't know the condition of this portage. It was surely changed by the 2011 Pagami Creek Fire. From this point the creek flows about 1.5-miles further until it flows into the Kawishiwi River just west of Hudson Lake. The creek is navigable between North Wilder Lake and the Kawishiwi River if water levels are high enough.
