Little Rush Lake is a small body of water of about 15 acres sandwiched between Rush Lake and Skipper Lake.
The portage to Rush Lake is short, but over a small hill. The portage to Skipper Lake can be skipped (pun intended) if the water levels in the creek between the two lakes is sufficient.
The north shore of the lake was affected by the 2007 Ham Lake Fire.
The lake is shallow, but it may contain northern pike.
Moose are common in this area, so keep a lookout.
Water flowage through Little Rush Lake is from west to east.

From Little Rush Lake, you can portage to either Rush Lake or Skipper Lake. The portage to Skipper Lake can often be avoided if the water levels are high in the creek that connects the two lakes.
