Little Caribou Lake
Gunflint Ranger District
LITTLE CARIBOU LAKE CAMPSITES: Campsite 1 (#692): The only campsite on this lake. It's near the mid-lake narrows
The portage into Pine Lake is downhill coming from Little Caribou Lake. Pine Lake is nearly 100 feet lower in elevation than Little Caribou Lake is.
There is only a single campsite on this lake, but it is a good one. It is often grabbed early in the day.
Caribou Lake's water flows into Little Caribou Lake through a small stream that flows along the south side of the portage between the two lakes. Little Caribou Lake drains through a little stream into the Crocodile River, just before that river flows into the western end of Pine Lake.
