CARL LAKE CAMPSITE: Campsite 1 (#775): Only campsite on the lake
Carl Lake is a small lake south of Morgan Lake. Most groups don't pass through Carl Lake and Lux Lake, but rather go straight west from Morgan Lake into Jake Lake. Therefore Carl Lake is less visited. Some visitors to Carl Lake are actually daytrippers that are camping on Vista Lake and Horseshoe Lake.
Carl Lake has northern pike.
Carl Lake drains to the north into Morgan Lake along a short creek. Carl Lake and Lux Lake are separated by a steep, but short portage, that traverses a low ridge that separates these two lakes.
