Portaging from Fourtown Lake

Creek between Mudro Lake and Fourtown Lake BWCA
Just behind you to your left from this point at the very south end of Fourtown Lake, the 10 rod portage (which is really more like 30 rods), heads south along the creek in the direction of Mudro Lake. You are looking up the creek right now.

Portage along creek between Mudro Lake - Fourtown Lake
You take a look downstream (to the north in direction of Fourtown Lake) at the start of the 30 rod portage to Mudro Lake. Portage is rocky and hugs the creek closely on the right side from your viewpoint here.

Mudro Lake at start of Fourtown Lake portage
You arrive at Mudro Lake after a series of three portages coming from Fourtown Lake. This last portage was a very rocky 30 rodder.

Now that you've made it over the portage, visit: MUDRO LAKE
