Portaging Direction: From Bingshick Lake to Honker Lake
The portage starts on the west side of the small creek that connects Honker Lake and Bingshick Lake. The landings on both ends are OK. The portage intersects the Kekekabic Trail almost immediately. There is sometimes a little log bridge here that the Kek uses to cross the creek, if it hasn't been washed out. The portage is poorly maintained, if it's maintained at all, but it isn't too hard to follow. The portage generally follows the creek, so just keep it on your right as you make your way along the brushy trail. The portage goes over a small rise between the lakes.

Portaging Direction: From Honker Lake to Bingshick Lake
Reasonably good landing on Honker Lake.
Portage climbs a little hill as it leaves Honker Lake. Keeping the creek on your left, follow the unmaintained portage over some occasional deadfall and through the overgrowth. Just before reaching Bingshick Lake, the portage crosses the Kekekabic Trail. The landing on Bingshick Lake is a tad marshy, but otherwise not too bad.
