Campsite 3 (#657): North end of the lake. Accessible from the Border Route Trail
Partridge Lake is a dead end lake at the end of a fairly challenging portage from Duncan Lake. The lake is populated by lots of small lake trout. It would be a quiet and peaceful place to spend a night or two in the BWCA.
There are three campsites on the lake. Two of them, the north one and the south one are accessible to hikers. The north campsite has a long access trail out to the Border Route Trail. The south campsite is located right on the South Lake Trail. The middle campsite can only be reached by canoeists.
The waters of Partridge Lake flow out the south into East Otter Lake through a tiny stream.
