Triumph Creek
Triumph Creek flows into Bootleg Lake from Triumph Lake. There seems to be long stretches of navigable water (mostly through areas surrounded by marsh), punctuated by short intervals where the forest closes in on the creek and fallen trees probably make the creek impassable for several rods. It appears that the creek becomes narrower and more prone to blockages as one approaches Triumph Lake.
This area was most recently burned in 1910 by the Sioux River, Bootleg, Big Moose and Cummings Lake complex. In 1894 it may have been impacted as the Chad, Cummings, Lac La Croix, Crooked Lakes complex raged near this area. Also, around 1755 the area was burned during the Big Moose, Oyster, Lac La Croix complex fires.
Paddling Triumph Creek
There is no information to be found on Triumph Creek. Much of the creek looks navigable; there are many liftovers and bushwhacks to get around though.
