The Portage between Pipe Lake and East Pipe Lake

Portaging Direction: From East Pipe Lake to Pipe Lake

Decent landing. The rocks won't hinder you much.

This portage is a whole four rods up a hill. The landing on Pipe Lake is on top of a beaver dam. Both landings are relatively good. The trail can we wet because water trickles down it through the dam.

Portaging Direction: From Pipe Lake to East Pipe Lake

Beaver dam landing on Pipe Lake. It isn't as muddy as it looks. The ground is fairly firm.

Downhill all the way. Portage can be wet due to water seeping through the beaver dam. Both landings are OK.
