A super canoe landing with actual sand. The portage is super too.
(Note: Carry is with canoe which limits visibility in this video.) This is an easy portage of 65 rods. There is very little elevation change along the route. The treadway is mostly just packed dirt and makes for good walking. There is an old mine entrance near this portage. There is a short path from the portage leading to it.
Kelly Lake (the Temperance River). From the end of the portage from Jack Lake, you can only go to the right. The landing on Kelly Lake is a sea of large boulders, but they are spaced enough to make wedging a canoe between them for stabilization doable.

You should be able to find a place between these boulders to poke your canoe into. The water gets deep fairly quick of the edge here, so make sure you're stable before egress. You'll really like the landing on the Jack Lake end of this portage. Really.
Looking straight north up Jack Lake. There is a little chute you must paddle through, which is found in that notch in the distance. The landing on this end of the portage is bomber (that means it is good and solid, mostly made of sand in fact).
