Exploring the Frank Johnson Mine. This mine dates to the 1890's. There are a lot of old iron implements lying along the trail leading to the mine. Video begins at the Jack Lake canoe landing at the end of the Kelly Lake portage (October 6, 2024).

At the base of the back wall of the mine tunnel is a vertical shaft mine in the floor. It has been filled in with rubble.
