Portaging Direction: From Good Lake to Indiana Lake
The portage landing was a bit flooded as the water level was unusually high.
Portage initially heads up a hill, climbing nearly 80 feet of elevation. There are some rocks embedded into the path in this section. Eventually the portage levels out with only mild undulations. The portage is heavily shaded which makes it a favorite for skeeters. The portage makes a steady descent as it nears Indiana Lake, losing the 80 feet your previously gained.
The landing is a low ledge out of shallow water.

Portaging Direction: From Indiana Lake to Good Lake
You have to lift your canoe and gear up this short ledge. Landing is also fairly rocky. Water is shallow and clear though.
Head up a moderately sloped hill for about the first 1/3rd of the portage. The middle 1/3rd of the portage is mostly level. The last 1/3rd of the portage is downhill to Good Lake.
The portage landing is flooded because of high water. It is otherwise a pretty good landing spot.
