The Portage between Moss Lake and Hungry Jack Lake

Portaging Direction: From Moss Lake to Hungry Jack Lake

Great landing on Moss Lake. Portage heads modestly downhill most of the way. You will cross the Moss Lake Trail along the way. There is also a road crossing just before reaching Hungry Jack Lake. This is Hungry Jack Road. The landing on Hungry Jack Lake is OK, but not as sharp as the one on Moss Lake.

Now that you've made it over the portage, visit: HUNGRY JACK LAKE

Portaging Direction: From Hungry Jack Lake to Moss Lake

The pullout area on the shore of Hungry Jack Lake is not terrible; the landing on the Moss Lake end of this portage is awesome. Soon after you leave Hungry Jack Lake, you will cross Hungry Jack Lake Road. The portage is mostly uphill in this direction. A bit further on you will come to a four-way intersection where the portage crosses the Moss Lake Trail. Continue along the portage to the shore of Moss Lake.

Now that you've made it over the portage, visit: MOSS LAKE
