Portaging Direction: From Fay Lake to Glee Lake
The portage is found in the bay along the north shore, on the eastern end of Fay Lake. The landing is toward the west side of the bay. It's a bit overgrown, but otherwise an easy place to ingress or egress from your canoe.
The portage is overgrown, but otherwise unremarkable in its difficulty. One of the easier portages in this part of the BWCA. The portage intersects the Kekekabic Trail about the mid-point (at about 0:55 in the video). The Kekekabic Trail is typically even more overgrown. This is only a 25 rod portage, so if you feel like you have been walking too long, you probably accidentally turned onto the Kekekabic Trail.
A very nice landing in a shallow, hard-bottomed inlet.

Portaging Direction: From Glee Lake to Fay Lake
Portage is simple to find in this small inlet. Inlet is shallow water with a firm bottom. Good landing overall.
This portage is brushy, but is otherwise easy to walk. The portage is downhill to Fay Lake. You will cross the Kekekabic Trail about midway along the portage (about 0:50 in the video). Don't accidentally turn onto the "Kek".
Another nice portage landing on the Fay Lake end. This spot is in a small bay toward the east end of the lake. View is toward the south.
