Portaging Direction: From Copper Lake to Hubbub Lake
Landing is satisfactory with shallow water and small rocks and pebbles to set the canoe on.
This 69 rod portage has a slight hump in the middle, but overall the elevation gain is pretty minimal. The portage tread is mildly overgrown in spots, but no particularly rough spots along this trail.
There looks to have been an old log dock of some sort at this end of the portage. It is visible underwater just off shore. Canoe landing is quite fine.

Portaging Direction: From Hubbub Lake to Copper Lake
Look for an old log dock in the water here. It is a simple task to land a canoe here.
A 69 rod walk through the woods on a mostly flat portage. The portage is a bit covered with vegetation in spots, probably owing to the fact that this route isn't heavily traveled.
A view toward the east of Copper Lakes' north shoreline. The cliff that was the probable the site of an old copper mine is visible in the distance, just right of center. The portage landing here will not prove difficult.
