There are two channels that must be crossed to get to the other side of the Isabella River. The deeper channel (and the one that more consistently has water in it) has an actual bridge. The small channel (which can dry up during droughts) has a makeshift log bridge and stepping stones. These two bridges provide a means for hikers of the Powwow Trail to cross the Isabella River.
The secondary channel of the Isabella River is crossed on this makeshift bridge by the Powwow Trail.
