There are three canoe landings, all of which are satisfactory. Three tent pads. The two tent pads near the fire grate are grassy. There is another tent pad near the water that is accessible via a short trail from the kitchen. This tent pad is small and a bit root infested. This tent pad is also near the the westernmost of the three canoe landings. Kitchen seems well positioned. It has some shade and good views of the lake. The campsite has a direct access connection to the Border Route Trail, so hikers can also grab this site. Topper Lake is stocked with brook trout by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
