This campsite is located on the small island about 1/3rd mile north of the Sea Gull Lake to Paulson Lake portage. Canoe landing is on a tiny sand beach. There are three tent pads, but one is notably better than the other two. The two mediocre tent pads are both right next to the kitchen. The campsite is located on the south side of the island, so it is relatively private because it doesn't face the direction of the open lake. This campsite lies at the very southwestern edge of the portion of Sea Gull Lake that allows motorboat traffic.
A small sandy beach next to a rock slab provides the best landing spot at this campsite.
Another look at the landing zone.
View of the fire pit facing towards the west.
Looking towards the kitchen while facing south.
This appears to be the most appealing of the three tent pads at this campsite.
This rutted tent pad is positioned right next to the fire grate sitting area.
There is a second tent pad also close to the kitchen.
The French voyageurs would have called this "Les toilettes". It's a bit of a hike to reach les toilettes.
This hill lies across the water to the southwest of the campsite.
