Fine landing on a billion year old protrusion of rock. This slab of stone also makes a good star watching, fishing and just plain sitting platform. There are just two obvious tent pads at this campsite. The kitchen is in a well thought out location, offering shade, view of the lake and close access to the water. The latrine placement is interesting. Bring your rock climbing gear. You must climb a steep, narrow path up a short rock face to reach it.
Fantastic canoe landing provides easy access to this campsite.
The kitchen is simple and well situated.
Another view of the fire grate sitting area looking in the direction of the lake.
Good tent pad.
Another tent pad.
When you need to do your Number Two, you'll find old #3 at the top of a mountain. You must scrabble up a short rock face to reach the latrine. Steep enough you'll probably want to use your hands for safety.
The benefit of having a latrine at the top of a small mountain is you get this nice view of Sea Gull Lake.
Another look at the canoe landing area. Note that Sea Gull Lake allows motorboats in this part of the lake, so expect to see and hear them in this area. Looking to the east.
This view is to the east/northeast.
View to the southeast from the top of the hill. Location is a few yards from the campsites latrine.
