The landing is at the bottom of this ledge. Note that this image was taken during very high water levels, so the ledge will usually be higher than you see here.
The kitchen is just a few feet inland from the ledge where you landed your boat.
Looking to the southwest from the fire pit.
This campsite is in a small copse of live trees in a sea of burned forest. The canoe landing is somewhat of a pain as you have to crawl up a steep ledge. You will probably have to haul canoes up too to park them for the night. There are a number of good tent pads here. From the fire pit, you have a view of the lake to the southwest. If anyone is camping at BWCA Campsite 1495 (a few hundred feet to the north), you may hear them since they are so close. However that campsite is seldom used due to its poor condition.
This view of Lake Four is to the south/southwest.
There are a good selection of tent pads at this campsite.
Tent pad.
Another tent pad. The trail to the latrine is visible in the background on the far left of your view.
About four or five tent pads can be found at this campsite.
Here's another.
A snowshoe hare hopping around back near the restroom.
On the edge of the burnt forest, you will find it. Lots of new trees springing up around it.
