Worn campsite that has felt the wear and tear of many feet. There are better ones nearby if they are available. Two or three large tent pads. Log seating around the fire pit was in relatively poor condition at time of last visit. Canoe landing is on a slab of rock sloping down into shallow water. The latrine is a top of the line appliance.
There is a good place to wedge your canoe between the slab rock and the grass/bushes to steady it.
Down to just a single log couch. Campsite obviously sees heavy usage nonetheless.
There is plenty of flat space right around the fire pit for setting up tents. This is looking west.
A different angled view of the fire pit. View is generally to the southwest.
This tent pad is a little ways away from the fire pit and offers a nice view of the lake.
This is probably a glacial erratic, a rock that was dropped here by a glacier when it melted out of the ice. Glaciers typically push and carry a lot of sediment and even huge boulders as the move back and forth across a continent.
A latrine of a more modern design graces this campsite.
You can see BWCA Entry Point 37 canoe landing (just left of center) across the lake from this campsite. You can also hear people at the landing from time to time.
