This is the view of the old campsite on Sedative Lake. Since this is in the Spider Lake Primitive Management Area, the campsite is no longer maintained. It still hasn't been entirely reclaimed by the surrounding forest.
The campsite has a surprisingly good canoe landing. The campsite is right on a point providing views to the south and also the larger and more open northern section of Sedative Lake.
The fire grate still remains at this campsite. The U.S. Forest Service has removed most of the fire grates and latrines from the campsites of lakes that are now in PMA's. They missed this one though.
