This campsite can be found just east of the Ahsub Lake portage on Disappointment Lake. The campsite is also accessible to hikers of the Old Pines Trail.

There are three tent pads, but all of them have some roots protruding into them. The fire grate is set into the woods, but still has lake views. Good wind protection. Latrine is closer than most would like to the camp area. This campsite is also accessible to hikers of the the Old Pines Trail. A short spur trail leads up the hill to that trail. Occasionally canoeists confuse this campsite as a portage landing when looking for the Ahsub Lake portage.
As you can see, this landing will not prove troublesome.
