Portaging Direction: From Lujenida Lake to Zenith Lake
Pulling up to the portage to Zenith Lake. There is a nice grassy area to land canoes. A few rocks to negotiate right at the landing, but nothing to rough. The Kelso River flows in just to the right (out of view), but it's mouth is covered by vegetation, so it is difficult to see.

Portaging Direction: From Zenith Lake to Lujenida Lake
A view to the south of Lujenida Lake from about 10 rods up the Zenith Lake portage. You can see where the Kelso River flows out of the lake in the far distance, just to the right of the pine tree that is right in front of you.
This is a decent landing spot. A touch muddy and a few rocks in the water, but otherwise very solid. The Kelso River flows into Lujenida Lake just to your left (out of view). Water is shallow at this landing, so no problem getting out of the canoe. Hard to see the bottom because the lake's water is darkly stained.
Now that you've made it over the portage, visit: LUJENIDA LAKE
