Portaging Direction: From the Kawishiwi River to Lake One
The portage landing. A bit rocky. The yellow substance in the water is just pollen.
Relatively flat and well worn path.
View from portage landing. Mostly small rocks and sand in the spot where you pull up the canoe. This is the western tip of the north arm of Lake One. View is to the northeast.

There are some rocks on shore here, but the lake bottom is mostly smooth gravel. Shallow water landing.
Really easy portage along a level trail. This portage is well worn.
Landing on this end has a few more rocks to deal with.
