The Jitterbug Lake end of the portage has the remains of an old log dock that can be useful when water levels are really low. With good water levels, you can run your canoe right up to shore. Ahsub Lake is 15 rods from Jitterbug Lake.
This is a 15 rod portage from Jitterbug Lake to Ahsub Lake. It is slightly uphill most of the way, except at the end as you approach Ahsub Lake.
