Portaging Direction: From Beth Lake to Ella Lake

A few rocks, but not terribly difficult.

The landing on Beth Lake is about average, the landing on Ella Lake is better than average. The portage is mostly flat. A few rock, roots and a spot or two of mud if its been wet recently, but that's about it. If you are heading to Grace Lake, note that the portage between Ella Lake and Grace Lake is somewhat rugged.

Portaging Direction: From Ella Lake to Beth Lake

Easy peasy.

Great landing on Ella Lake. Portage walk is mostly smooth going, with a few rocks and roots tossed in to keep you honest. The landing on Beth Lake isn't as good as the one on the Ella Lake side, but it isn't too difficult either.
