The Jitterbug Lake end of the portage has the remains of an old log structure, maybe a dock. With good water levels, you can run your canoe right up to shore. Ahsub Lake is 15 rods from Jitterbug Lake.
This is a 15 rod portage from Jitterbug Lake to Ahsub Lake. It is slightly uphill most of the way. Trail goes downhill just as you approach the Ahsub Lake end.
