The Portage between Adventure Lake and Jitterbug Lake
Portaging Direction: From Adventure Lake to Jitterbug Lake
Adventure Lake has a nice broad rock platform on which to land and launch canoes. This is the beginning of the portage from Adventure Lake to Jitterbug Lake.
This 46 rod portage is relatively flat, wide and well worn, so the footing is easy. Practically like walking down a sidewalk. The area to land the canoe on both ends is in fine shape, though Jitterbug's landing can be messy if the water levels are low (a bit of mud).

Portaging Direction: From Jitterbug Lake to Adventure Lake
The portage landing on the Jitterbug Lake side of this portage is nice, hard ground. Surprising for a swampy lake like Jitterbug Lake.
Similar to most of the portages in this area, nothing hard about this one. Path is mostly level, it is wide and it is very well trodden. The canoe landings on both ends of this portage are also quite nice. The landing at Adventure Lake is a large slab of rock.
