Town Lake Campsite 1
This is the only campsite on Town Lake. In fact, it is the only campsite between Cherokee Lake and Brule Lake. Therefore, if this campsite is already occupied and it is much past midday, you will have to go back to Cherokee Lake and find a campsite. The portages between here and Brule Lake are some of the most difficult in the entire BWCA and that route takes many hours to cover. This campsite is very open and quite large. The firepit area could use some building up. The canoe landing is just beyond the fire grate area behind that tree (see the paddle sticking out).

Town Lake Campsite 2
A wider view of this expansive campsite. One of the tent spots is visible at the right of your view, just right of that line of boulders embedded in the ground. The privy is up the hill.

This is a large campsite. You could camp a small army here. The visit to the privy involves a hike up the hill. This campsite stretches along the lake, bounded by a hill behind it.

Town Lake Campsite 3
You're looking to the northwest at the opposite shoreline. Most of the lakes shoreline is rather plain jane by BWCA standards, but the lake is all yours if you grab this campsite.
