This campsite has a large and very accessible canoe landing. The fire grate is on top of a rock shelf and there are nice views of the lake from there. There are at least four tent pads, but they all have an 'unused look' about them, given that they each have a thick carpet of grass covering them. Would surmise that this campsite is lightly used. Plenty of shoreline access. The campsite is close to the BWCA Entry Point 32 portage landing, but it is hidden behind some islands at the very edge of the Boundary Waters border, so it's a relatively peaceful location nonetheless.
Canoe landing. It's a good one.
A female painted turtle laying eggs right in the middle of the canoe landing.
View of the fire grate.
A look at the kitchen from another direction.
Another view of the seating area around the fire grate.
Grassy tent pad.
Another tent pad. This one probably had the least amount of grass cover on it.
And another tent pad.
The fourth tent pad.
The latrine is labeled #1, but it can also be used for #2.
