This U.S. Forest Service campsite is located right next to the start of the Flash Lake portage on Snowbank Lake. It is a very primitive campsite.

This is an official U.S. Forest Service Campsite. However, it is not maintained. It doesn't have a fire grate and it probably doesn't have a latrine (not located). The campsite is on Snowbank Lake right next to the start of the Flash Lake portage. The canoe landing for the campsite is the same used for the portage landing. The campsite is also accessible to hikers of the Snowbank Lake Trail. To reach the campsite from the trail, just follow the portage from where it intersects the trail to Snowbank Lake.
The canoe landing at this campsite is very good and is also the Flash Lake portage landing. This is not a heavily used portage so you shouldn't see too much traffic.
Fire pit. There isn't a grate.
This is the only easily recognizable tent pad. This campsite is aimed more at hikers, so tent pads are smaller.

This view is from the Snowbank Lake end of the Snowbank Lake to Flash Lake portage. View is towards the east.
