Sawbill Lake Campsite 1
Canoe landing is from shallow water on a smooth sand and pebble strewn beach.

Sawbill Lake Campsite 2
The area around the fire grate is rather barren. The log furniture is rotted and not high enough for sitting. It will take some work to put this campsite back together.

Taking a brief walking tour of this campsite.

Sawbill Lake Campsite 3
Campsite seems open enough to catch a breeze from the lake if the wind is from the south. This would be good for bug mitigation. If you aren't lucky enough to have a southerly breeze blowing in, keep your bug spray cans at the ready...you'll need 'em. The canoe landing is just behind the trees to left of center. One tent spot is right at your feet. Overall a rather unspectacular campsite. It is not far from the Ada Creek portage, but far enough to not be in the "traffic lane".
