There are two landing locations at this campsite. This one is on the south side of the point that the site is located on.
Another landing place that is very close to the fire grate.
The fire pit is placed out on this rock point.
This campsite is located way back in the southwest arm of Rush Lake, so privacy is pretty much guaranteed. Two landing zones. Both are mediocre. There are also two tent pads. One is on bare rock near the fire grate (OK if you have a good air mattress) and the other is just back in the forest. The kitchen is well placed out on the point. Wind issues should be minimal as the point faces east.
Northeast view looking toward the fire grate and its seating arrangements.
This tent pad (rock?) is just that, solid rock. But it is flat enough. If you have good padding with you, it will work well.
The other tent pad is in this shady moss covered area. You may have to share it with a moose...
Well placed far enough back in the woods to be able to do your business in private.
Southwest view from campsite.
This would be looking east down the long southwest arm of Rush Lake. To the left side of your view, that is the long peninsula that separates the arm from the main lake.
