A view down the west side of the lake from Rifle Lake's only campsite. A good site to pitch a tent. Holds maybe two or three tents. Fire pit provides nice view of the lake for the chef. Canoe landing is adequate. Lake not known for good fishing. During the spring there are many water iris growing in the shallows. The portage leading to Bridge Lake is just to the right of the campsite from this vantage point. This route is lightly traveled (even being so close to Lake Two), so you shouldn't be bothered much by other groups passing through. Note that the portage to Bridge Lake is a long one, so if you really want to camp here, take that into consideration.
