The site isn't large, but it checks most of the boxes for being considered a good campsite. Three tent pads. The kitchen seating area has pleasant view of the lake. Latrine is easily accessible and private. Good landing. Most paddlers will probably find this to be the best campsite on Pipe Lake.
Pretty good landing on this rock slab.
Well organized seating around the fire grate. This area is somewhat open to the sky, not many trees hanging over this part of the campsite.
