You will find this campsite on a sharp point on the western side of Perent Lake. In general, the west end of Perent Lake is much quieter than the campsites nearer to the mouth of Hog Creek. Consider paddling up the Perent River to the west if you are looking for a day trip from this campsite. The canoe landing at this campsite is a bit dependent on water levels. If water is low, you might have to do a lift up onto a rock ledge. If the water is high, you can just paddle right up and step out. The fire grate is close to the water and somewhat exposed to the sun and the wind, but it offers great views of a huge swath of Perent Lake from its elevated position. There are at least four tent pads, and half of them are solid.
Landing requires a little work if the water in the lake is low. High water (like in spring) makes this landing easier. You walk up a slope of rock to the fire grate, which is elevated.
Not a bad kitchen.
View towards the lake. Lots of sun exposure.
You won't want to put your tent over that rock to the lower left.

This one is a little overgrown. Probably not used much (maybe for a reason).
