Mediocre canoe landing. This view is to the southwest. The small island that is west of the campsite is visible to the right. This campsite isn't shown on some maps.
There is a little inlet (visible just below left side of canoe) that allows you to land your canoe at this campsite without having to balance on all the boulders along the shoreline.
Well built up fire pit.
Tour of this campsite. Many tent pads. Only one other campsite on this lake, so it is usually pretty quiet here.
View of the kitchen while facing in the direction of the lake.
Tent pad.
Another tent pad. You can easily find a tent pad at this campsite that is level and is not obstructed by rocks and roots.
Yet another spot to throw up your temporary home.
A fungus species.
The Number 2 is ready when you are.
View of campsite as seen from back near the forest edge.
View to the east.
This is looking toward the south. Note that much of Parent Lake has large expanses of shallow water near the shoreline. In many areas of the lake you have to go well out from shore before the lake starts to drop off.
