Misquah Lake Campsite 1
The boat landing isn't terribly difficult, but it is most certainly rocky.

Misquah Lake Campsite 2
Large boulder along the short trail from the campsites canoe landing to the kitchen area.

Campsite exploratory walkaround.

Misquah Lake Campsite 3
Pretty basic fire pit. Not a lot of space between where the fire grate is and where the woods begin. Seating is getting on in age.

Misquah Lake Campsite 4
This is the small tent pad that is near to the kitchen.

Misquah Lake Campsite 5
View of the kitchen looking in the direction of the lake.

Misquah Lake Campsite 6
This second tent pad is along the trail to the latrine, at the top of the hill. Slightly bigger than the other tent pad that is near the fire pit.

Misquah Lake Campsite 7
Probably one of the highest altitude latrines in the BWCA (roughly 1,960 feet above sea level). Now there's a story to tell.

Misquah Lake Campsite 8
View down the hill at the fire pit. The latrine and the slightly larger tent pad would be behind you from this vantage point. For additional perspective, the smaller tent pad is just to the left of the fire pit, behind the trees (left side of view).

Misquah Lake Campsite 9
Misquah Lake looking to the northeast. The slope visible to the far right of your view is the western side of Gaskin Mountain (elevation 2,245 feet).
