A relatively good canoe landing on this table rock.
The kitchen is under this large pine tree. This site has good sightlines to observe the lake. Seems well protected from the wind. Could imagine this campsite experiencing some bug issues.
Another view of the fire pit area.
Campsite is located in the quiet south end of the lake. The site has a decent canoe landing, one very high quality tent pad as well as another one or two serviceable spots for erecting a tent. Shore access is rather poor since wild rice grows close to much of the shoreline.
This tent pad is covered with a layer of pine needles and a little bit of grass.
This spot was rather overgrown and there are a few rocks hidden in the grass.
The finest tent pad is the large master suite back in the woods.
This seat in the woods comes with a nice table to place your toilet paper roll.
Vista to the north of the campsite.
Southern view from the campsite. The Little Indian Sioux River flows into Lower Pauness Lake not far to the right (out of view).
