This canoe landing is plenty good. Firm bottom substrate and minimal water depth. A bit of huffin' and puffin' required to climb up the hill to the location of the fire grate.
The someone meager kitchen sits well above the lake providing expansive views of this bay.
Another view of the fire pit area, this time looking to the southeast.
Stroll around the campsite. Some mature trees did survive the 2011 Pagami Creek Fire at this campsite, so some shade and places to hang a bear bag are available. There was evidence (a.k.a. poop) of recent visits by moose here (August 7, 2021).
You can pitch a tent here.

Last and probably least...this tent pad looked the least appealing of the three.
A "Duct Tape Special". Good chance this latrine was damaged by a falling tree and needed some field repair.
View to the west at the quiet bay you are camped on.
This is the shoreline along the very east end of the bay.
