Tiny pebbles and gravel make up this large smooth landing location. This is during low water period, so don't expect this beach to always be this large.
A pretty standard setup. Log seating is mid-life. View from the seating area around the fire pit is toward the west. Here you are looking northwest, with the small island to the west of the campsite just visible to the far left.
West view. Small island is on the far right now. If you want to explore Rock Island Lake, the easy bushwhack/portage to it is located just left of center along the distanct shoreline. Good side trip.
Take a look about the place.
Tent pad right next to the fire pit (left side of view). Small island just off shore is visible mid-center.
Another tent pad. BWCA Campsite 1527 is visible in the distance on that point (far left of your view).
A third large tent pad is back in the woods a few steps.
A decade or more of use and still doesn't need a plumber.
View to the north. The sharp point north of the little island that lies to the west of the campsite, is visible to the left of center.
Peering off to the northeast in this image from the tent pad located back in the woods a little ways.
