A minimalist campsite on the very eastern end of the north arm of East Bearskin Lake. This campsite is well off the beaten path for this busy lake. There are two tent pads. One is very small. There is a lot of debris (i.e. rocks, logs) just offshore of the canoe landing that you must thread your way through to reach the shore of this campsite. The fire grate is a simple affair and there was no furniture at time of last visit. Shoreline access is poor.
The landing is OK, but there are a lot of underwater obstacles to get through as you approach it.
A rather sparse setup.
Looks like someone planned to cook rocks for dinner.
A tent pad with an extra helping of roots.
Tiny tent pad.
You've arrived.
View of East Bearskin Lake.
Looking to the left. This would be east. A difficult portage to Alder Lake is located just out of view in this direction. This is the hard way to get to Alder Lake from East Bearskin Lake.
