The campsite has four tent pads, but only the big one covered in pine needles is much good. The other three are root ridden. Kitchen is in a cleaning above the lake, but there are limited views of Daniels Lake from this location. The canoe landing is really good if the water levels aren't high, which exposes a gravel beach. There is a rock stairway leading up from the landing to the kitchen area.
This canoe landing isn't bad if the water is down a bit, since a gravel beach becomes exposed. During high water, you will be getting out on these rocks.
View of the little stone stairway that leads up to the campsite.
The kitchen.
Looking towards the lake from the near the fire pit. Obstructed views, but will help with the wind.
This may be the better of the four tent pads at this campsite.
Small pad down near the lakeshore.
For those you like to sleep rough.
Another tent pad.
Fascinating.
Daniels Lake looking to the east/southeast. BWCA Campsite 668 would be near the middle of this view on the opposite shoreline.
