Canoe landing on a rocky landing below a low ledge, but not too difficult. The kitchen has a large flat rock that serves as a counter. There are four tent spaces with plenty of flat areas to setup your home away from home. This campsite offers lots of shore access and some good rocks for sitting on or looking up at the stars at night. Coveted island campsite not far from the Brule Lake entry point that gets a lot of visitors.
The landing is at the base of this mini-ledge on the boulders. The water here is very shallow and clear, so the boulders don't cause too much of a hinderance.
Excellent kitchen amenities. Notice the rock counter behind the fire grate. Are is well shaded, but provides fine views of Brule Lake. Lots of open space to spread out.
Another view of the seating area around the fire grate.
Tent pad. There are plenty of good locations to pitch a tent, so you have options.
Another tent pad.
How about another.
One last one. There may be others too, but the four tent pads shown above were easy to locate.
Heavily used composting machine.
View of the island just east of the campsite.
The island on the right is just east of the campsite, which is itself located on the eastern point of a large island.
