Two places to land your watercraft, both are kind of rocky, but not bad overall. There are at least three tent pads, but two of them have a lot of roots, but the third one is of decent quality. The kitchen area is back in the woods a bit, elevated above the lake. It offers limited views of the water.
There are two obvious landing spots at this campsite. This is the rockiest of the two.
Here is the better landing. From the lakeshore you have to walk uphill a little bit to get to where the fire grate is located.
Fire grate is in a large open area. There is adequate shade. You can't see the lake very well from this location.
Another look at the kitchen from a different point of view.
This is the best of the campsites three tent pads.
A small tent pads with a lot of roots.
This tent pad as had some root infestation.
This latrine has some mileage on it, but it still has its lid.
Looking east toward the notch in the island.
Looking towards the south/southwest. The BWCA Entry Point 41 landing is located somewhere just left of center along that distant shoreline.
Here you are peering in a west/southwest direction. To give you a feel of the distance, the smaller island to the right of center is about 1,000 feet away.
