There are three campsites in North Bay on Brule Lake. This campsite and the one on the island, which forms the the south boundary of North Bay, are the best. The campsite on the east side of this bay is probably the least desirable, but an interesting place to check out as it may have been an old logging camp. This campsite in particular has good wind protection, nice canoe landings and great tent pads.
There are two reasonable canoe landings at this campsite. The other one is probably slightly better than the one shown here (scroll down to see it).
This campsite is notable for this wide open and flat space that could accommodate many tents.
The kitchen is well protected from the wind. However, the tree cover limits views of the lake from this location.
Taking at look at the tent pads at this campsite.
Another tent pad to consider. Closest one to the latrine path.
And here is the latrine, complete with foot stool.
The other canoe landing. Probably the better of the two obvious landing spots at this campsite. View is southeast.
