Mildly rocky canoe landing. Walk up a short slope to get to the fire grate. The kitchen has a fine view of the lake and is well situated to be protected from the wind and sun. There are three tent pads. One has lots of rocks, another has lots of roots and the third is not too shabby. Not a lot of shoreline access. This campsite is tucked back in a bay, away from the majority of the canoe traffic heading for the South Cone Lake portage.
Rock strewn landing.
Kitchen area is quite sufficient.
Pleasant view of the lake from the seating area around the fire grate. The view is towards the west/southwest.
